And so after all the wonderful rain which we so desperately needed Plettenberg Bay gives us a stunner of a day for the Pennypinchers Cairnbrogie Trail Run. https://www.facebook.com/PennypinchersAdventure/timeline

Blue skies, views for ever and everything washed clean and sparkling.  Okay, so it was a bit muddy but not too bad and what is a trail run without a bit of mud after all.

Because i am not crazy, no offence to the crazy ones, i chose to run the 12 km trail which was absolutely gorgeous, a bit of technical stuff, not too much to scare me off for life but enough to make me have to think about where i was putting my feet, the bit along the top of the edge of the cliff looking out to sea was breathtaking and i loved all the single track through the forest.

Thank you to one of my crazier running friends (who is not technologically lagging like me, yes i know i need to get a phone that takes photos) for taking these pictures while running the 18 km.

And when we came through the finish line we got fresh milk and a pine apple, what more could a trail running girl ask for.

So thank you Pennypinchers Adventure Team, Cairnbrogie Dairy and all involved for another awesome event.  We truly live in paradise.  See you same place, same time, next year.
